because led and ic belong to semiconductor devices, they are critical of the use conditions of the environment, preferably at room temperature of about 25 c, and their working mechanism is the best. but in fact, a large outdoor screen will be used in different temperature environments. in summer, it may be above 60 c, and in winter, it may be below – 20 c. when a manufacturer manufactures a product, it takes 25 as the test condition to classify different products, but the actual operation condition is 60 or – 20 c. at this time, the efficiency and performance of led and ic are inconsistent. it may be that the original one-stage product will become multi-stage, the brightness is inconsistent, and the screen will naturally become more expensive. this is because under different temperature conditions, the attenuation and decline of the brightness of red, green and blue lamps are different. at 25 c, the white balance is normal, but at 60 c, the brightness of the three colors of led decreases, and their attenuation values are inconsistent, so there will be a phenomenon of the whole screen brightness decline and color bias, the whole screen. the quality will decline. and what about ic? the working temperature range of ic is – 40 c – 85 c. because of the high temperature outside, the temperature inside the box rises. if the temperature inside the box exceeds 85 c, the ic will work unsteadily because of the high temperature, or because of the different temperature drift, the current between channels or the difference between sheets will be too large, which will lead to the screen.
